A growing North Bay food business, that has distinguished itself through progressive thinking and socially conscious awareness, seeks an accounting professional with both strategic and tactical expertise to oversee all financial functions.

While reporting to the VP of Finance of its parent company, accounting responsibilities include: supervision and mentoring of staff, informational month-end and year-end financial reporting and analysis to identify profit improvement, payroll and basic cost accounting oversight, general ledger navigation and oversight, and budgeting and forecasting. Human Resource oversight is also included.

The qualified candidate is degreed in Accounting or Business Administration; brings a minimum of eight years of increasingly responsible general accounting/basic costing experience; has HR knowledge/understanding in the area of state and federal employment law; enjoys being hands-on with all levels of accounting in a growing business; possesses excellent communication skills; is highly motivated to perform accurate and trustworthy work; and excels at problem solving when deadlines are looming. CPA or CMA is desired. Experience with Navision software is a huge plus.
