Small, prestigious Sonoma County winery, with a recognized commitment to excellence and a legendary winemaker, seeks a proactive wine marketing professional to coordinate and perform a comprehensive set of public relations and marketing activities, and support all direct-to-consumer sales and marketing activities to further enhance the high-end image of the wines.

While reporting to the Director of Marketing and Sales, marketing duties focus on adhering to the annual marketing plan, driving the creation of collateral material and the development of market research, developing and maintaining company websites and contributing to the marketing design and actual participation in on and off-site events. Public relations duties include developing and adhering to the PR plan, enhancing and managing media relations, furthering developing review and press libraries, managing and participating in tastings, conducting PR research and maintaining/developing selective social media activities. A willingness and ability to graciously conduct tours for key guests at the winery is also important.

This dedicated and driven individual will bring a knowledge and heightened appreciation of ultra-premium wines with a true dedication for ongoing learning. A degree and three to five years of marketing experience with an ultra-premium brand is required. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Computer expertise in Microsoft Office, desktop publishing and some HTML is necessary. AMS is a benefit.
