A world-class wine estate, located in the Napa Valley seeks a dedicated and highly skilled financial professional to provide accounting, financial and administrative leadership for the business to create value and ensure the highest level of quality and excellence.

The position reports to the CEO and General Partner, and the focus of responsibilities is overseeing all accounting functions while ensuring the integrity of financial controls and accounting practices are according to GAAP.  Additional duties include financial planning and analysis, HR administration, asset and risk management, IT system oversight and tax/compliance control.

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is required. CPA is highly desired along with broad knowledge of the wine industry and wine production. A minimum of seven years of increasingly responsible financial management experience is necessary.

The qualified candidate possesses a professional presentation, diplomatic and effective communication skills, the ability to lead and motivate staff, organizational acumen, the skill to identify, interpret and anticipate financial roadblocks and provide winning solutions, a strategic mindset to be able to work to the worst and best of times, both creative and analytical thinking, flexibility, and the aptitude to be proactive in order to provide timely information to the CEO.
