Creating an inclusive workplace requires leaders, teams, and individuals to pay attention to the subtle ways in which they exclude or convey negative messages to individuals based on aspects of their identity through language or behavior.

In this workshop, participants will learn what microaggressions are, examine the impact of microaggressions on others, and will learn how to respond to them as a bystander and as the target of them.

In preparation for the training, please take note of these important points:

• This training ideally should be accessed on a computer with audio and video conferencing capabilities.
• One attendee per web-cam enabled device (computer, tablet, smart phone).
• This training is interactive and you are encouraged to participate (to your comfort level). When everyone participates, the experience is richer for all in attendance.
